Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. Anne W. Burrell is the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. It was during this time that her experience in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate Italian philosophy and culture, and this has left an impression on her food and culinary experience. Burrell was an Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board member, which aims to increase the lives of children facing challenges. Burrell also serves as an Juvenile Disease Research Foundation celebrity ambassador, and is a vocal advocate for awareness of children's diabetes. She speaks about her cooking passion, and also shares her knowledge of the culinary world when she travels throughout the US in various roles such as mentors and speakers. Anne has stated during her career in the kitchen she's grateful to be able be able to share what's truly important to her.
