Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As the artistic director of SSC She was also the company's composer, musician and text coach as well as costume/set/music design. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors in her final year she made her first appearance as a director (and the lighting design) for SSC's King Lear. The other roles she has played include an array of game show appearances. Her family was a mix of twin sisters and brothers in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard Post. She was a student at Pomona College for a short duration and was graduated in Lewis & Clark College, both located in Oregon. Post was married prior the wedding to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. Together, they have two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as the perfect mother and wife. Post has been a source of inspiration for many who work in Hollywood.
